Works from the 2020s II

Pane, 2021 – Bread, 2021
While in everyday life, lives disappear like breaths on flour,I wish reason would become water to make bread.
S’il n’y a pas de paix, il n’y a pas de pain. Si la raison dort, il ne reste plus que la mort.
If there is no peace, there is no bread.

Non chiedono cure, 2021They don’t ask for care, 2021

I focused on an image I’ve held onto for a long time: a damaged desk from which a green triangle emerges—it looks like grass… artificial.
A gesture of love born from a foolishly destructive act.
Care aimed to ennoble the gesture and offer the viewer an escape route.
While everyone is busy looking for a cure, we insert prosthetics where we have broken limbs.
What gives me hope is what grows on the margins, without attention, and despite everything, still thrives.
